Number 50 - MN 61 from Thunderbay, ON
A casual stroll down from Thunder Bay on my way to spend the night in Grand Marais. I woke up to near freezing temperatures in the morning - 33 degrees F in late May! The heated grips and heated vest were working overtime for a while that morning until the temperatures rose.
Number 49 - MN 53, 71, 11 in International Falls
This was a trip up through International Falls and then over to Thunderbay, ON - beautiful crisp day!
Number 64 - Highway MN 16, 14, 61
This is coming into La Cresent - 3 highways merge across the Mississippi river from Wisconsin. It's a nice blue sign with "10,000 Lakes" on the bottom (I'm not sure that I've found another one like it so far).
Number 8 - Highway MN 65
This is the Welcome Sign for highway 65 near the town of Gordonsville, MN - they also had a nice bonus border marker which marked the completion of the Jefferson Highway system across both Iowa and Minnesota in 1930!!
The sign that didn't exist - Number 7 - Highway MN 105
This was the first time I've ridden to somewhere only to find that the Welcome Sign didn't exist. (I actually rode to this same location later in the year, only to find that it still hadn't been replaced) This is on Highway 105 coming in from Iowa. I don't know if it was stolen or taken down to be replaced?
Number 21 - I90E
This is number 21 on April 22nd - I90 going east into MN - very poor shot 😔as I was in the middle of an Iron Butt Association SaddleSore 1000 (1000 miles in 24 hours or less).

Sign Uno! Highway MN 26
This is the entrance sign on MN 26 as you roll in from Iowa - not the world's best shot because of the shadow...
Plus, two smiling faces :)
